Nisrine is an independent law practitioner with more than 14 years of Experience in Law and the Founder of Salhab Partners Law Firm. Her main areas of expertise include corporate and commercial law, with an extensive experience in domestic and cross-border acquisitions and investment structuring, as well as non-profit organizations. She also serves as an advisor and contributor to a leading Lebanese tax and accounting publication. Her multidisciplinary background (law, journalism and mediation) combined with her extensive work experience in Lebanon and France has allowed her to develop a holistic approach to legal and legislation matters. Using her mediation skills, Nisrine has proven to be very successful in assessing what is at stake and in creating relevant and appropriate regulations for her clients. Her interest in new technologies naturally led her to serve as a legal adviser and mentor to several start-ups.
Nisrine graduated from “Paris V – René Descartes” University where she studied Law and started her career. She obtained recently a Certification in “Women on Boards” a Governance Training held by Tamayyaz in collaboration with IFC/World Bank.
Nisrine participated as a speaker in multiple events such as the BDL Accelerate organized by the Central Bank of Lebanon. She has also been one of the contributors in the “Doing Business” published during the year 2017 by the World Bank.
In 2017, Nisrine joined Tamayyaz team as an Independent Law Practitioner who has been actively working on aligning international Corporate Governance Best Practices with local Laws and Regulations. Nisrine is also one of the key contributors in the “Part IV: Shareholders’ Rights” of the “Corporate Directors Certification Program” a Program offered in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) – World Bank Group aiming to help executives become Certified Board Directors.
