Ashraf, an Egyptian – Canadian professional with an international exposure and holds an exclusive mix of Corporate Governance expertise and management in addition to coaching and training experience with hands on best practices. His diversified experience as a CG and Management Consultant across continents in addition to being certified as an IFC Master of Master Trainers and Instructional Designer, gave him a unique edge in providing cost-effective integrated solutions for challenging business issues through designing, implementing and managing a wide range of projects in a variety of business sectors towards a measurable impact and a remarkable ROI for the different stakeholders. In business for more than 20 years providing Consultancy and Training for corporates and SMEs clients ranging from FMCGs, consumer durables to industrial products. Among his clients: International Finance Corporation – a member of the World Bank Group, SODIC -Solidere – largest real estate developer in the region, Digicel – Largest mobile operator in the Pacific, Orange – Largest mobile operator in Egypt, Alcatel mobiles in Egypt, SABIC – Largest Industrial organization in KSA, Shamsy Group – textile and RMG manufacturer in Egypt, the Arab Bank, ABC Bank and others. Ashraf frequently lectures C/SME Governance in the American University in Cairo and the Cairo University and Dubai SME.As a certified Consultant and Trainer in Corporate & Family Owned Enterprises Governance, he has delivered several workshops and advices on family governance for family businesses’ owners, CEOs and CFOs. He has also delivered several regional and global TOTs and workshops to SMEs and PEs under the IFC SME program. He has specific expertise in setting up advisory boards, board evaluations, CG assessment, succession planning, Board performance, Corporate Secretary best practices and HR. He also sits on two advisory boards. AGS has an international exposure ranging from conflict affected to developed countries, namely in/with: Egypt, UAE, Erbil, Cote D’ivoire, Guinea – Conakry, Tunisia, Morocco, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Senegal, KSA, Qatar, Latin America, Pakistan, Asia Pacific, Afghanistan, London, Germany, France and Canada. Ashraf is a co-founder and a Lead Board member for the National Egyptian Development association; an NGO with a mission of improving employability through bridging the gap between education and evolving market requirements. Ashraf is a former Engineer and had joined the Canadian board of Engineers in 1991. Besides his 20-year experience in consulting, he had acquired much of his expertise through his work for Procter and Gamble and Bechtel on regional and global levels. In 1992 he was awarded the “Top Performer” Recognition Certificate and in 1994 he was Awarded the “Continuous Improvement Leadership skills” Certificate from Bechtel London. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
